I have known for many years that I have a slipped disc in my left jaw, but that was about 15 years ago when i found out, and never did anything about it. I grind my teeth at night and got a mouth gard through dentist office and it really does help, although i never know when to not use it. Sometimes I think i get so used to it than wearing it or not wearing it doesn't make a difference. But, it still does help as I can tell the nights i wear it I am a bit better the day after.

Anyhow, last year I had a bad sinus infection and when it stopped i had severe dizziness, and to this day I'm still dizzy. Have had sinus surgery and still the same.

For the past 2 years since I gave birth to my son I have also had an increase in my saliva. Had a biopsy done and everything looked normal, not stones. I feel it is hormonal, but never have found a good reason why it is happening. Thing is the saliva makes me thrust on my front top teeth a lot and it does end up hurting me throughout my left jaw area. Weird thing is that I have this sinus pain as wel, but sometimes I notice when I thrust on my front teeth it causes more pain in in my sinus area/nose.

I don't know if this could be TMJ that is causing the dizziness. I have always thought it was sinus problems. Right now I'm back on steroids/antibiotics for sinus's as they are infected, but the dizziness just never goes away.

Not sure where to go from here. Thinking i should call my dentist and have him take a look or not just to be sure, but not really sure.

well, i plan to call my ENT first thing Monday and try and get a referral to a good Oral surgeon. I am now convinced this is TMJ as related. I'm really not sure how much longer I can wait to get this treated as I am in pain now. I have thought it was all sinus related, but now I am convinced it is my jaw and it is bad. Anyone have any suggestions what I can do in the mean time?
