I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but here it goes. I usually use the Venus razor, and never have a bit of trouble with it.
But, this morning, when I hopped in the shower, I was out of blades for my Venus, and the one on the razor was getting pretty bad, so I had to use a disposable. It was brand new, just out of the package. Well, I now have razor burn all over my legs. It burns like heck, and is really sore to the touch. I will be outside all weekend, and I really don't want to have all this redness on my legs. Anyone have any tips or ideas of what I can to do get rid of this razor burn quickly??????? Thanks!!!

I have the same problem when I use most disposable raisors. Get raisor bumps. The only thing that really works for me is the Gillette Sensor Excel. Sometimes though after I shave you can still see little black dots. Large pores maybe? LOL Anyhow, hope you find a solution to your problem. :)

One thing that I've found helps is that if you feel like you're going to have razor burn after you've shaved then when you get out of the shower, while you're still wet, rub oil on the shaved areas - most health food stores have nice apricot kernel or almond oil that works well - and then wipe off the excess oil and water. This also leaves skin SUPER soft - way softer than when I've used lotions. Hope that helps someone.

THIS WILL WORK! Smooth baby oil or vasoline over your legs, emerse in warm to hot water and voila! No bumps, stubbles - has always worked for me!! Even around bikini line and under arms.
