When I was 1 years old I thought it would be fun to tip over my mom's coffee cup. Not really.. it spilled all over my arm & I was rushed to the hospital with some pretty nasty burns. Used all the creams & such & it left me with a scar down my entire arm & shoulder. It used to be super noticeable, now it's a faded a ton & the more I go tanning(but I don't really go that often anyways, very rarely) the less noticeable i've noticed it's become. I asked my derm(top rated in the country) & she said it's skin that won't exfoliate. I've had exfoliations done, i've used the creams from her, nothing helped. We were told of a laser treatment available but I wouldn't be able to go in the sun for a year afterwards. What else is available?
I guess this is where I also mention I have a tendency to very very severe skin allergies/allergies in general. I've suffered with eczema, psoriasis, hives, all kinds of things since I was born.
anyways, also it's not a raised burn, it's just a discoloration of the skin.. what can be done for that?
thanks

Well. I dropped a curling iron on my leg when I was about 13 and I have 3rd degree burns. The Dr prescribed Merderma(sp?) It helped with fading it some. Scars are horrible I know! I hope this helps.
