Goodmorning I was reading this post you wrote and I was just wondering if this is the same procedure that the Doctor wants to do on my Right side Oh and BTW NO the Mri's are not always right. Mine said I had Marrow Edema once my Doctor reviewed the MRI he said it was Lot's of fluid that actually works it's way into my Eye at night when I sleep (Gross) My doctor put me on steroids and if they don't work to take fluid down he said he wants to put me asleep and irrigate it. They said they take two needles into joint and push fluid through is this what your post is referring too? And what exactly did it do to you. i have had cortisone injections they didn't help one bit i have 3 small kids so more pain is NOT an option they need me to be NORMAL for once.

I had arthrocentethis 3 times, (when they inject fluid into the joint to flush it out, any scarring or such) and it left me in excruciating pain each time. No more do I want anyone sticking anything in my joint space again. I truly question the validity of this type of surgery. But I am no doctor. I just know for me it was useless and awful.
