I had a 360 at the l4-5 level 13 weeks ago, though that is going well , I have had sudden pain in my hip and the top of my thigh. If that is not enough last March I had a sudden horrible pain in my neck and left scapula. I was told this is a probable c6-7 herniation by a different nuero then the one who did my lumbar. I have had months of PT for my neck, bu each day is soooo bad. I do not understand how it is possible to have problems in both areas!!! I will have a CT scan on Friday to see what may be the cause of the thigh pain. I did have a laminectomy at the l3-4 level 8 years ago. Is it possible that the fusion site has put pressure on this already surgically altered site above it???If anyone has had problems arise at different levels without injury please give me some input. I have observed this board for a long time but decided to post now to get input from other back pain sufferers.

I don't have an apparent injury, even though work related. I have two small bulges at L4-5 and L5-S1 as well as a bulge at C5-6. I see my neurosurgeon tomorrow for a follow up and next step. I am going to request a discectomy at the cervical level and 2 level fusion at the lumbar level. I know that is a lot, but so is my pain. i am up to two percocets every four hours. NOT GOOD. I am not sure exactly what kinds of things you wanted to know, but let me know and I will try and help you out.

I was wondering if anyone had any problems with other areas after having surgery at one site?? I feel like this is a domino effect... and I was wondering when it would stop???
