Breakfast: High Low Cereal by Organic Milling with flaxseeds, bananas, a little walnuts and fat free organic milk.
(A teaspoon of fish oil in a little cup of juice, multi, cal mag.)
Snack: An orange, banana and a cup of green tea double bagged with splenda.
Lunch: Balance bar
Snack: A tall glass of Organic "Very Veggie" juice and some pretzles.
Dinner: Two eggs with low fat cheese and a huge plate of cooked veggies with cauliflower, brocolli and carrots with a pat of organic butter. Cup of green tea, double bagged with honey.
Snack: Pretty big piece of chocolate  and will have cantelope, watermelon in a bowl and fat free yogurt with flaxseeds later. :)
I'm curious to see what others ate.
I was at school all day and didn't drink any water, so I only had two glasses of water all day. Shame on me, I'm going to get a glass right now. Oh, and the chocolate thing isn't usual, it's my cheat thing I can't usually control and it's about 3x a week. :D

For breakfast I had:
Egg beaters, lowfat cottage cheese, 1/3 of a banana and some coffee
Lunch: shrimp spring rolls with thai peanut sauce and cup of vegetable soup
Snack: 2 kraft singles
Dinner: Made an incredible BBQ chicken salad--romaine lettuce, fat free shredded cheese, avocado, tomato, corn, with fat free ranch and bbq sauce

I'll type in what I ate so far...
Breakfast: Hi Low cereal by Organic milling, banana, tbs of flax, and this time some sprinkled almonds, coffee with splenda, and now use this soy creamer flavored hazelnut. And a swig of my fish oil, multi, and cal mag.
Snack: A whole can (which is 2 servings) of this mediteranean (sp?) bean soup with vegetables and a little low fat organic mozz cheese. A cup of green tea with honey double bagged. Which left me filled till dinner! (cal mag)
Dinner: Black bean burrito by "Amy's" with a side of rice, beans, and I made a huge plateful of organic frozen veggies but of course cooked, mixed already with carrots, corn, green beans and peas with a pat of organic butter.
For a snack, I plan on some kind of fruit, one fat free yogurt with flax, or dfat free pudding. I'll come back and post what I decide tonight! This is where my problem is BTW! Oh, I may have a whey shake tonight too since I didn't have a lunch, well the soup could be my lunch but I consider it a snack, I know, I can be wierd! :D
Okay, didn't go as planned last night, I had a whey shake and a slice of pizza. :D

Lunch: Grilled chicken sandwich on wheat bread with lettuce and a little mayo).
Snack: Bowl of watermelon, and fat free organic yogurt with a tbs of flax.
Dinner: Black bean burrito, and a little tuna salad from "Whole Foods" already made up foods.

Snack - Low-fat Granola bar and 3 candy corns....Lunch - diet soda, turkey bacon sandwich, apple, and wheat tins....Super - Reg. Sprite, 2 small fries, and a small chili.....Night snack - half a stick of Gogurt. (It tasted curtled.)
Today (Much better) - Bkf.- coffie, 2 slices of garlic toast, 1 wedge of light cheese, and grapes.....Morn. Snack - "Freakin' Nuts" Cha Cha Chili......Lunch - diet soda, turkey bacon sandwich, Wheat Thins, and an apple.......Super - Water/juice and a BIG salad (Romaine lettuce, apple, raisins, nuts, and fat-free dressing).....Night snack - maybe nothing or Gogurt.

They often miscalculate many food items. The only safe way to use it is to make all your own custom entries. Personally, I use a spreadsheet that I designed myself - it automatically calculates everything from calories to balance to burn rates.

I found Fitday to be annoyingly complicated, often wrong, and terribly complicated.
Using the USDA site and just writing evverything down in a notebook is so mkuch quicker and accurate.
You also cannot do it right without a diet scale. Nobody can eyeball the difference between 3 ounces and 4 ounces...unless it's a butter stick.
Yesterday was an uncalculated mess because I had a doctor's appointment at Noon (thus a fast)...by 2 PM I went, STARVING, to a Chinese restaurant and from there til I went to sleep, I made up for lost time.
Today is a NEW day!

Agree Agree Agree
The only tools you need:
kitchen scale -get some light foam plates so you can actually weigh any food item on the scale
good measuring cups/spoons
USDA Database (google "USDA Food Data"
notebook and/or spreadsheet
BMR calculater (google "BMR calculator) - so you know how much food you should be eating!

LOL, I just can't control my sugar cravings. My husband is a junkfood junky and has put on about 10 pounds in the last month. If he didn't, I'd probably choose chocolate over a blow pop! :D He is an avid chocolate and potatoe chip eater. But, he's been watching lately and there isn't any junk food in the house at the present moment, except yah know, my blow pops! :D LOL! And I've gained about 5 pounds, but it's not like I'm overweight, but I am trying to watch!

Yes, I have lost 35 pounds after my 2 year old daughter was born. Well it was on the slim fast diet, but since I'm more educated on healthy eating, I know how to lose weight on "My Own" diet which is just plain old common sense. Because I did gain some weight back, but I learned how to lose it again on my own. My weight fluctuates about 5-7 pounds which is still within my healthy weight range, but of course not my desired weight, which is still in my range. :) Losing weight and/or being healthy is based on what healthy foods YOU LIKE to eat. Not everybody loves brocolli, although some people do like it. So you have to find a plan that works for you that includes low fat healthy meals that you will eat. Small example, there are tons of fruits and veggies, and I'm sure you'll like some of each group. It takes time for your taste buds to get used to good food, but you'll be suprised at how good these foods can taste after the transition. When one is used to eating junk, it's gonna be hard to eat healthy but it just takes time and patience. Then you learn how to incorporate them into your diet, along with whole grains instead of white etc. It's all about balance, water (no pop :nono:), and exercise! ;)

Yum.
I like figs with nuts too. I sometimes make a fig walnut tapenade spread with olive oil and herbs to spread on crackers.
Or cut in half the dried figs and blanch them to soften them up a little and they're great on a salad with nuts or sunflower seeds.
:)
they're full of calcium and oh so tasty!

hi again, ok so i have the old recipie but just kinda made a lot of adjustments so i tried to remember the mesurements but here it goes, at least its a starter and you guys could maybe help me perfect it(i got it from another site but i think we're not supposed to post it?)
1/2 cup measures like sugar Splenda(or I mix some stevia in with it)
1/2 stick butter (regular salted butter), melted ( a little more than ¼ cup)
1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill flax meal (this is a great tasting brand!) or just ground your own flaxseeds!! And almond flour( which is gound up almonds really fine) mix these two together to get around ½ cup or so
3/4 cup french vanilla whey protein powder (low carb) I use Iso pure)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 large egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup heavy cream ( I’ve tried omiting this and using 1 more egg and a little bit of water and it works too)
1 1/2 tbs. vegetable oil (I used canola oil)
Mix wet ingredients in bowl. Beat very well. (let sit for about 5-10 mins to thicken a bit)
Mix dry ingredients in second bowl.
Mix wet ingredients into dry. Stir until very smooth. ( I used a hand blender to get it really smooth)
Spray muffin tray with cooking spray(I use pam or olive oil sprayer) and spoon in batter.
Bake 15 or 20 min., until knife inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Cool. I like these refrigerated and served very cold.
Makes 6 muffins. Each muffin has 5.5 grams carb. Please note that I do not subtract fiber on my food plan, and flax is loaded with fiber. (so if you subtract the fiber will be less than 5.5 carbs)
You can easily double the recipe.

so was my day well balanced?? jdi..someone..I was looking for the 3 cups of corn pasta... hahaha :D
But seriously, I think your diet is well-balanced except for breakfast... no protein and lots of carbs... but that may work for you.

Peanut butter would help some, but it's mostly fat. Cottage Cheese, eggs, and Lean Meat are great sources of protein. No doubt, breakfast IS the hardest meal to get protein in.
