Does anyone have any quick fixes (if there is such a thing) in reducing blemishes? I don't them them very often, but when I do, they last for a lot longer than most and they tend to leave discoloration (which eventually goes away in a month or so). I've tried blemish creames, but they tend to react to my skin. I posted on the acne health board, but thought I would try here too!

Thanks http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wave.gif

A dab of toothepaste on a zit will dry it up very quickly!

I love the toothpaste trick!

Game over. I had to accept the fact that in life some women are simply better and no amount of shoes or lack of pastry or making of pies will change that. I will never be the woman with the perfect hair who can wear white and not spill on it and chair committees and write thank you notes. And I can't feel bad about that.

My father taught me a trick for those deep pimples. I rarely breakout but whenI do I start panicking. Anyway he told me to get a 3x6" pice of foil and fold the sides to make a bowl. Put a small amount of vicks rub in it and use a lighter or match to melt it. With a q-tip quickly put this on the zit and cover with a band-aid and keep it on overnight. the next day the zit wil have formed a head and it is so sensetive that it ends up bursting while your washing your face. The vicks speeds up the process. It sound gross but you don't have to deal with your zit anymore and your face isn't swollen or puffy from messing with it. I have tried it and it does work.
