I have stretch marks nearly every where on my body, they are not very wide, but they are really long and they have faded to white but they are still really noticable. Ive spent hours reading about creams and laser surgery etc. I wanna know wot if anything might rid me of these horrible scars, i would be graetful to know what has worked for you or your friends/family.

I have been to see a dermatologist before, but the main reason for doing so was to have a mole removed. I did mention the stretch marks, he just sent me to cosmetics and i recieved a tube of make up to cover them up, but it doesnt work very good if i apply enough to cover them i turn pink, enough to match my skin colour and you can still see them. I am going to see a skin specialist, but im waiting for an appointment. My gp said he doesnt think there is any way to get rid of them. If not then why dont the celebs get them during pregnancy, if theres no way to get rid of them then there must be a way of preventing them.

I got my stretch marks when i was about 10 (i am 17 now) years old, i was quite chubby, 'puppy fat' as it is sometimes called. I developed a lot faster than my friends as well. I also have an allergy to the sun which meant i had to wear total sunblock all the time, that might have something to do with it too.
