HI All:

My podiatrist prescribed me with 2 weeks of Medrol. I really DO NOT want to take a steroid. I have a bone spur basically attacking my achilles tendon, and for some reason my upper foot near my toes is swollen and feels like it has fallen asleep.
He wants me to take this steroid for 1-2 weeks.

I have never taken a steroid, but admit I have only heard negative things.

Can anyone share any experiences or information?

I took a steroid medicine for 1 -2 weeks and had no problems. Give it a try if thats what the Dr. recommends.
