Please people, think carefully before you have Lasik. It is not always successful, and sometimes, as for me it is a downright disaster
I had Lasik 2 years ago, and am no in very thick bi-focal lenses. Previously I needed just a think lense
*sometimes*
It took 18 frightening months for my vision to settle, during which time I was needed new prescriptions about every six weeks. Expensive! Scary! No-one could tell me what vision I would be left with,.
I had to give up my job, I still can't drive at night and probably never will
I now have 'higher order abberations' which can not be corrected by Lasik or any other means. My vision is permanently damaged. My quality of life is diminished.
It has been a depressing, regretable experience.
