Hi
I was wondering if anyone have had any trouble with Elavil (amitriptyline hcl)
and your liver? I had went into the dontor for some testfor my heart . I did not even know they checked the liver. some of my liver levels came back elevated. I got called into the doctor to go over my tests. when I dinially got some insuranceI went in 9months laterand did another blood test. they came back elevatedagain. so I just had a ct scan, i gota call from my doctor to come in to talk about medication and my ct scan/
Has any of this happened to you

causing hepatitis (allergic reaction),

liver toxicity (yellow skin and eyes, feeling of illness throughout the body),

Liver problems: Your doctor will want to put you on a lower dose, as a reduction in liver function decreases your ability to remove Elavil from the body as needed. Periodic blood checks may be recommend

thanks
