As for drugstore stuff I like Nutrogena Instant Bronze, just be sure to apply it with good lighting or you'll end up like a zebra! My most favorite is Tan Secret though. I get it on Home Shopping Network. It's like a mousse, doesn't smell bad like some sunless tanners, and looks BROWN! I love it! And it's so much better for you than a tanning bed or sitting out in the sun! Looks just as natural. Good luck!

Neutrogena Instant Bronze was very nice, very little smell and what IS there smells good. I found that the streaks I had on my legs weren't there after I showered the bronzer part off, so I think it 'tans' you evenly underneath even if you happen to get some streaks here and there. At least I did, and it looked very natural.

i just started using Clinique sunless tanning, it works really well, just be sure to rub it in, and dont miss any spots! :-)

I have tried just about all self tanners. I finally found one that I just absolutly LOVE. It's the new Coppertone EFFORTLESS tanning cream. ( do not get it confused with Coppertone Endless)

I like Bain de Soleil foam. I usually put it on at night before I go to bed. It has a funny smell, but it goes away after I take a shower in the morning. It never looks orange or streaky and I have very pale skin.

California North is the best I've tried. It looks really natural and the tan stays for about 3 days or so.
It has a nice smell also, kind of pina colada or something - doesn't have the icky smell most of the self tanners do. Give it a try - they only sell it on line. Just type in "California North self tanner" and it should take you to a website that sells their product.

i like nuetrogena the best. I bought the tan secret mousse off hsn and hated it. It smelled like aluminum.
