I have been going thru surgically induced menopause since last year.I am now 36.I am taking the pill cenastin 0.625 but i only take it every 3 days.I started out on the patch ,,That didnt work.I went to premarin..I just didnt like takin that!!I am wondering is anyone else able to do this?I actually feel the need when i get up on the third morning{hot flahes}.I take my pill and within the hour i am fine!! I was told in the begining i had to take them everyday and just didnt like the idea so i adjusted them myself. My doctor is aware of what i am doing and says if it works for me then go for it!!I am just wondering if others couldnt try this and get along well also? I mean why put more of these hormones in our bodies than we have to anyway right?I have a very long road ahead of me since i started taking these crazy pills so early and i am concerned about all the side affects so thats why i do it..Just wondering if i am the only one out there doing this??I have had my rough times esp in the begining but the last few months havent been too bad!! I think i am learning to adjust to this new way of life!!!

hi, I am sixty and taking the NEW .3mg of premarin. They're not just everywhere yet but so much weaker than the .625 I've been taking for 15 years. ;)
If I took the pills like you describe, every couple of days, I'd have extreme itching and yeast infections. I cannot sleep when that is going on at night, especially. If you do get itching, now you'll know why!!
