My contacts are dry alot...sometimes even hard to get out because they're super dry?...anyone have a good solution?...other than drops...

I find that when I wear my contacts and I'm dehydrated my contacts get really dry. Like after a night of heavy drinking (since alcohol is a diuretic) taking off my contacts feels like rubbing sand paper against my eyes. I always make sure I drink a lot of water (or gatorade) after drinking. Hello, I use to work for in the optometry field, you might want to talk to your Dr. about changing contacts, not sure what your wearing now, but accuvue 2's are good lenses, also the H2O they are good for dry eyes, also the Proclear are great for dry eyes, what type of contacts are you wearing? Have been wearing Toric colored lenses...can only get 4 colors because of astigmatism.... Last week got some samples of a different brand...they're great...just can't get them in color...they don't come in color for astigmatism... Thanks...sorry am so slow to checking... Lizzi... |
