Hi,
I had a LEEP a month ago and the nurse said to not put anything inside.
However I think I am having some yeast and want to put some OTC cream there to get rid of the yeast. Can I do that now or should I wait longer?

From what I'm hearing a month or 6 weeks. Why not take a AZ yeast infection pill I keep hearing about. There the same ones that make the pill for UTI. I think I'm saying the name right.

I am pretty sure your nurse is talking about sex or toys. So you do not irratate the healing flesh, if your not sure just call and ask your nurse. She may be able to prescribe something for your infection. I think I had a yeast infection after my leep for some reason. I used monostat 7 because it was less harsh than the other creams. Good luck

Hi Coco, the pills don't do much for me except for Diflucan which the nurse is very strict about giving a prescription to me unless I go to the office and get cultured. Soulcatcher, I remember her saying to not put anything there, even creams so I am confused but I believe it is about time I start putting some medication. I think a month should be enough, right? I don't want to mess up with the LEEP but this yeast is killling me!

Yeah I would think maybe you would need to take Diflucan but there are health risk with those. I would talk to the doctor about this because I can't imagine anyone sitting through a yeast infection longer then a day.
