I recently took a job working at an ice cream store. I have to stand 100% of the time as well as use a ton of back and arm strength (that I don't have) to scoop the ice cream. I wear sneakers at the job but stand on the concrete floor. I've only been at this job one week but my knees are killing me. I havent had knee pain this bad since I took ballet! What can I do to stop the pain? I'm assuming it's just from standing on a hard surface for hours on end. I love the job, but my knees don't! Help!

strengthen the muscles around your knee to take tension off of the joint itself. Then you can wear an ace brace for support along with cold compresses right after work is the best you can do probably....g/l
