I have normal blood pressure but I also have Fibromyaliga but about 5 days ago I was washing the floor and i got a horrible headache on the right side I went and took an asprin actually 3 asprin my room mate came home and she was talking to me but I could not understand a word she was saying this went on for about 15 min. I had no loss of use in my arms or legs just the worst headache worse than a migrane I did feel very uncoordinated and my vision was blurred I had kind of a numb feeling all through my body that lasted 3 days or so. i could not tell the difference between hot and cold in my bath or dishwater it all just felt the same. Now I still have a slight headache more like pressure and still feel a little confused when trying to work things like stove microwave washer dryer my car ect... the doctor seems to think I am crazy or something or that its all in my head I just seen him yesterday when most of the symptoms had gone. If it happens again i will go to ER if I am able to think of it but if it is like last time I am not sure I could make that decision because of the confusion. I am new here can anyone help me?

My mother (age 75) has experienced something like this a few times in the last few years. I took her to emergency room once and they couldn't find anything wrong, but dr. says it's like a TIA (small stroke) with no lasting effect. She sometimes will lose sight or blur in one eye and lose use of an arm for a short time but also has major headache. It's real scary for her cuz she also can't remember names, etc. Once she was speaking, but nothing made sense at all. It's a mystery to me and the dr doesn't seem too concerned. She also takes aspirin once a day, but when she has an episode, she takes 2-3 and it seems to help it go away quicker.
