I had hammertoe surgery on the 4th of this month and I have a pin. What is the average length of time the pin remains in and is there a chance that the toe could return to it's bent position?????

My pins were in for 6 weeks. I think whether they could bend again all depends on how severe your problem was and how much work the doctor did. On my next follow up I plan to ask things like what type of shoes should I wear and/or avoid; what types of activities do I have to limit myself from, etc.
