I am looking into buying a fitness watch to monitor my pulse when exercising. Do all good ones have a chest strap or do some collect data right from your wrist? What is a good brand/model to get?
Budget is $150.
Thanks.

Ha, I just told you to buy one. LOL. I got mine at radio shack for 80 dollars and I'll tell you the name later, cause I gotta get ready for my classes.

I've got a pulse counter / time piece. It's just got a string on it so you can wear it around your neck. It's made by Tanita. You just put your index finger on it and it calculates your pulse. I think it cost around $20 and I got it at the sports authority.
