PULMINARY FIBROSIS FOCI OF DIFFUSE ALVEOLAR DAMAGE. WHAT IS IT, IS THIS LIFE THREATENING, CAN IT BE FIXED. BREAK THIS DOWN IN ENGLISH. THIS IS WHAT MY AUNT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH :confused:

Pulmonary fibrosis is a scarring of the lungs....it's causes can be from a variety of things, like environmental, breathing in bad things in the air......once the scarring has taken place, it's permanent. I hope your aunt is seeing a good lung doctor (pulmonologist) and has had ct scans and lung breathing tests.

She Is Going To A Lung Doctor Now, So Far She Is Doing Better. They Changed The Meds That She Was Taking So Hopefully She Will Stay Well. Thank You
