Well I've been growing my hair out for two years so I could have it long for my end of school formal in a few months time. But I got weak! I had it cut - it's not too short - the bottom layer is juuust past my shoulders and the shortest layer is just below my ears. But argh all my curl is gone http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

My hair still goes curly when it's wet but after it has dried it starts going limp and lifeless and arrrgh. What can I do what can I do what can I do?! My hair is thin...not really thin but medium thin...does anyone know any products or techniques to make my hair look purdy again? http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

Can't you just use gel after you wash your hair to keep the curl? I use assuie, sebastion's good too.

If that doesn't work why don't you just get a perm?

My daughter's hair is curly too. It's not really curly unless it's wet or I fix it curly. Sometimes I dry it with a round brush (on special occasions) and it turns out so pretty. I think big round brushes are great with curly hair. You should try it.

After you wash it put some scruch spray in it and use a diffuser.

Good luck

I have the same problem, so when I don't feel like blowdrying I just use some light gel and scrunch, to get the curls (well, more like waves) to not go flat. It will look messy after you've slept on it, but for a day it's fine.
DON'T get a perm, that will only mean more funky waves when it grows out and can end up completely ruining your natural curls. Especially if you don't have very thick hair.
