Hi, I didn't really know where to post this at, so I did here. Ok, here is my problem. I have suffered from migraines, daily headaches and neck problems for many years now. A few weeks ago I had an MRI and just got the results. They were that I have osteo-arthritis and a narrowing and or degenertive disk in my neck. I have alot of difficulty swallowing food, drinks and even salava, it's like I try to get choked alot on all of these. I have even been woke up at night choking in my sleep. Does anyone know if my neck problems could be causing the swallowing problem? I really get scared at times and need help. ty

I really don't know if your neck problems could be causing the difficulty swallowing, but I too had some difficulty swallowing. It turned out that I had several nodules on my thyroid. Maybe you should get it checked out. An endocronologist would be your best bet.
