Hi Everyone,
My husband and I have been married since July, and I went off the pill, the beginning of August. I was only on the pill for about 4 months or so.. and now since we're married we'd be soo happy if we got preg. Hubby is concerned that we aren't preg yet, lol (he thinks theirs something wrong with him...) but I told him sometimes it takes several months to start ovulating again, and dr's suggest waiting 3 months between going off the pill and TTC.. anyways.. I'm hoping by Christmas :) That would be the BEST Christmas present for us :)
Thanks for listening..

It does sometimes take a little time, my DR told me in any given month anyone only has a 15% chance of conceiving, and that is when they are doing everything right. Goodluck, hopefully you'll see a BFP soon! :D

It sometimes gets frustrating..because a friend of mine got married last December, and within a month they announced she was pregnant. They didn't even want to have a baby right away, so sometimes it's kinda like why did they get so lucky and we're not getting preg right away. I know though it will happen in the right time.. and it really hasn't been that long :)

I have a fertility book and it says that you have a high chance of getting preggo a few months after the stopping of the pill. who knows. I wish you and me and everyone else the best of luck ttc.

Hey all... I was supposed to start my period on Tuesday. (this is according to my periods the last few months) and I haven't yet. It's now Saturday... and I'm a little.. curious.. anxious.. !!!! WoW!.. could I be?? I normally have cramping, and tender breasts, etc for about a week to 3-5 days before I start my period and I haven't had any cramping at all that resembles period cramps... I know I should take a test.. but I'm afraid of getting all excited.. and then being dissapointed. I also haven't gotten the chance to get to the store.. ya know???
I know I should test......

None yet!!!
I still haven't started AF... I don't have a test on hand.. and I haven't had the time to go out and get one. We are trying to pack for a move (across the country) right now *leaving on the 7th of Nov.) and we are going on vacation with my dad and stepmom leaving wednesday.. I've been rushing around (babysat for stepmom today for her dogs) and haven't had a chance to get out. We don't currently have a car, since we are moving, we're getting another one after we move (we're going from FL. to WA.) and.. gosh.. I'm kinda.. anxious... but I don't want to be disappointed..
I was kind waiting to see if AF would show up.. just late.. ya know????
What should I do???
I know everyone will say test.. but..

I haven't had my regular cramping that I almost ALWAYS have gotten in the past 6 years of having AF, about 2-3 days - a week b4 AF. My chest is REALLY sore.. and I've been really tired(that could be an AF symptom tho. right? I dont' usually get THIS tired before AF. I have had stomach upset slightly a couple different days,(one day I came close to actually throwing up) and not feeling well either. I'm not sure what other symptoms I should have.. if I'm pregnant.. and I suppose it's different for everyone.
Ok, I'll stop being lazy.. and go get a test!!! :) *crossing her fingers* Again.. I'm so scared of being disappointed.

Yea I know how you feel this month I was a week late untill af came. I just KNEW (or thought I knew) I was preggo when I was late. But the test said NO. Just hang in there. I know the whole thing is tough.

Yeah.. still no signs of AF... and my stomach has been sooo upset for the past week and a half.. and I'm sooo tired.
I was wondering if my cycle was just "off" and if I really could have concieved, and that's why the test said negative, because there's really not enough hormones yet. ???
lol. Gosh, I guess we'll see. I'm going to be out of town for a week though. We're going to Tennessee, and staying at a cabin. It's going to be gorgeous. My dad and stepmom invited us, so we're gonna have some fun!
We're leaving this afternoon, so I'll see you all next week :)

Hello. I am new to these boards as I have just plucked up the courage to write something, although I have been reading through all the threads for some time now. I conceived number 1 very easily in one cycle. Now it has taken several months and I still have not conceived No. 2. It is natural to worry and think that something is wrong with you. The health professionals do say that we all have only a 25% chance in every cycle, but I think we still expect it to happen. I am sure it will happen for you very soon and I hope it will me too.
