Are there any magazines out there that show long hairstyles? I have long hair almost to my waist and I'd like to cut it to below my shoulders but I don't want to cut straight across. I need a change but to be honest I don't know what I want. Any ideas? My hair is straight by the way. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

You could get it cut to the length you want and get it razor cut. It would give it some texture instead of just a blunt cut. You could also get some layers around your face .

Thanx for the reply. I meant to say below my shoulder blades lol! Would it work with this length? http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif Like right below the shoulder blades?

The razor cutting is all the rage now. They use it for any length hair. If you have a good hairdresser she should be able to help you figure out what you want. Some cut long layers into the hair w/the razor. I've never seen a bad cut using this technique.

Also, lots of hair magazines have long styles. Do what I do, I stand at the rack and flip through to see if there are any that interest me before buying it to take the picture w/me. Saves lots of money that way! lol
