Four weeks ago, i had symptoms of a UTI (bllod in urine, frequency and urgency) so my dr. put me on an antibiotic. Urine test came back negative for infection. Wound up in urgent care and the dr. there said i should be checked for bladder cancer. Had an ultrasound done that came back fine on both my bladder and kidneys. Went to the urologist, no blood in urine but still some urgency and dull back ache. He did a cystoscopy and everything was fine. Now, no visible blood in urine but still a little urgency and depending on how much water i drink, i pee constantly and still have back ache that normally isnt on both sides, it's one or the other (no flank or abdominal pain either). Waiting on results for my urine cytology...........praying it comes back okay! Anyways, anyone else with anything similiar to this?

it sounds like you have kidney stones, even though nothing showed up on you ultrasound...it's not uncommon i guess, you hear more often than not that what should have said "yes" said "no" even though it was most definitely "yes" which you found out later

i had horrible kidney stones last year, they were awful, i hope they nevre come back

UNFORTUNATELY, I GOT A CALL FROM MY UROLOGIST TODAY REGARDING THE RESULTS OF MY URINE CYTOLOGY AND IT SHOWS ABNORMAL CELLS IN MY URINE SO IT COULD BE CANCER SOMEWHERE IN MY BLADDER OR KIDNEYS. hE WANTS ME TO DO THE CT SCAN TO SEE WHAT COMES UP SO WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS! tHANKS FOR THE REPLY!

I think I have something similar and won't see a urologist until December. I have had symptoms of a Uti coming and going for about 3 months. I will have 2 weeks where it is bad, and 2 or 3 without any symptoms. My main symptom is frequency. I will feel pressure like I have to pee all the time. Most of the time I have to pee, but sometimes there is nothing. I went and took a sample in to an after hour clinic, it came back with no infection, but microscopic amounts of blood. This went on for about 2 weeks, was treated with macrobid and the thing (whatever it was) finally went away.
I was without any discomfort or symptoms for about a month and a half, then it happened again. I took a sample in last week, no blood, but they only did the dipstik, they gave me a bottle to send away if it happens again. I've had a pelvic ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound and they were fine. No masses or anything. I have never seen the blood in my urine, it doesn't burn, it just feels like pressure. I am fairly good right now, haven't had symptoms for about a week again, but am feeling like i might again.
I am so scared that I have bladder cancer. I am 34 years old, 4 children.

I forgot to say that I really, sincerely hope everything turns out okay for you. Maybe it is something called interstitial cystitis.
