I guess I am trying to allay my fears of cancer, but 2 ½ years ago, I
had a laparoscopy to remove endo and some cysts and polyps. I have been
fine so far, no major complications (I did not take Lupron) until
recently when I took an abdominal CT scan (by my GP for an unrelated
issue) there shows that there is a 3.7 cm mass behind the lower part of
my intestine. My Dr. seems to think it is in my ovary so I am off to
see my GYN today. I guess I just assumed that because of the continual
hormone treatment(BC continually), cysts should not be developing. Am I wrong?

Hi! There are a couple of us that have been on birth control pills for quite some time and have developed ovarian cysts - My doctor said it was quite common - I thought the same as you, but I guess not!! Good luck :-)
