Had to start a new thread....I went to the store today to buy some laundry soap and bought a test to....hum...I don't know I think I may test again in the morning...I couldnt help it...I JUST WANT A DAMN BPN I mean a BFP NOW :bouncing: :bouncing: :bouncing: LOL

No, I haven't. I'm holding out for Saturday or Sunday if I can. Af is due anytime between tomorrow and Monday. I have been temping and some of my symptoms look promising, but I don't want to set myself up for dissappointment, so I'm trying to not think about it too much. I found a site that shows other people's charts and there were alot that were similiar to mine that had BFP's so I got excited, then I saw quite a few that were similiar that were BFN's too, so that dashed that glimmer of hope for the time being....I'm hoping my temps stay up and I see a BFP soon. When did you say AF was due...it still may be too early even with those First Response ones...not trying to discourage you but I know what it's like to pee on the stick then regret it right away because they can add up quickly. They say they are good for up to 4 days before AF is due, so if you are due anywhere from the 25-28th(for example) I would wait until at least the 24th so if you are going to be the latter of the two you hopefully would still show up....just a tip, but it's up to you. I waited 5 days with still no sign of AF and decided to test again with Clear Blue Easy. I got a very faint positive right away! I did a lot of reading online and read stories where people got faint positive with Clear Blue even when they weren't pregnant so I thought "Oh maybe I'm not really pregnant." Turns out I am pregnant and the Clear Blue Easy tests were right. :) I just wanted to share that the First Response ones aren't always accurate a day or two before your period. :)

I agree, I checked online and the First Response tests aren't any more accurate then the Clear Blue ones...they both detect the same amounts of HCG...that's why waiting until as close to AF day is best...the longer the better.

okay, I guess I'll wait cuz my AF should be here by Monday as well. I did talk to my doc today and she did remind me that w/ both of my preg. my test did not show I was pregnant until I was 7 weeks or so. She did say the spotting was promising. She did not think it was ovulation spotting seeing how I am 30 and that never ever happened. I seem to think she thinks I am but does not want to get my hopes high. She did say if AF does not come by the end of the week she will give me a blood test. So I guess I'll have to wait until the end of the week. Hopefully it will be what I want. If not I'll wait for AF but not w/ open arms LOL. Good luck...

I'm 30 too! We sound alot alike, I have low HCG in early pregnancy too which means my HPT's don't show up as early as most womens do. Did your DR mean by the end of this week or the end of next week she'll give you a blood test? Yeah, if you have a history of not showing up on HPT's until much later in pregnancy, don't even bother yet, it'll be money down the drain, and only discourage you in the end.

wow...we do have alot alike cuz the funny thing is my dd's name is Cierra. Funny isn't it. But anyhow the Doctor said if I don't see anything she'll give me a blood test at the end of next week basically the end of the month. Good Luck.

OMG! We must be twins! LOL...That is too unreal! What are the chances that we would have SO much in common. How do you pronounce your daughters name? Kierra is pronounced (Key-air-ah) Noone ever gets it right, she gets called (Key-are-ah) or (Kear-ah) alot. It's weird because I made her name up...kinda after my sister....when I was little I couldn't say Christine so I called my sister Ki-Ki, Kierras middle name is after my mom and I am close to my sister so wanted my sister to be a part of her name too so tried to pick a name that started with Ki. At that time I had never heard that name before, I had heard the variations of it, but not pronounced the same. Since she was born I have heard it a few times so it is becoming more common. This is going to be a long week for you isn't it? My temps came up again a bit today so I'm happy about that...but I still could see a BFN if my AF doesn't come until next week...my temp would dip the day or so before. Today is the first possible AF day...I wore a thin liner just in case, but I did a CM check and just got creamy white stuff (sorry if TMI) I still can't tell the difference between my cervix or anything else so I don't know what position it is in...I might ask Melissa again to see what she can tell me about all that...she's pretty good at that info.

yeah I know...yeah the doc, she knows my history so she definetly doesn't want to get my hopes high...I've been w/ her 15 years. So, I can somewhat "read" her. As far as the cervix thing goes I can't get it right for the life of me..i just can't figure out what im looking for it all basically feels the same to me sorry tmi but that's why I just gave up on that....

Is Cierra 14 years or 14 months? Kierra is 26 months. I didn't get AF yesturday or as of yet, but I did a HPT this morning and nothing. My temp is down slightly from yesturday but I was up with Kierra for a few minutes about 1 1/2 hours before I woke up to temp so it could have affected it I guess. She wanted her flashlight! I bought her this teeny little lion king flashlight that is a little bigger than the size of my thumb. She takes it to bed and I usually take it and hide it once she's asleep so the batteries don't wear out...I think I will just turn it off from now on. I just think with there being nothing to show on the test yet that I am doomed to get AF. My boobs are still a bit sore but not quite as sore as they have been. I just did a CM check and it is still creamy, white and lotion like. I'm officially one day late from my regular cycle, but last month I was 4 days late. If AF doesn't come by Sunday I may test again. I haven't figured out the cervix position thing yet either, Mellissa said she was going to put a post on for me to help me figure it out, so if you want to try it again, look for that post. Well, goodluck keep us posted, I sure hope you get a BFP.

My Cierra is 14 years old..I had her quite young...anyhow AF hasn't showed her ugly *** here yet...I've had a terrible headache today..maybe she's on her way...Keep me posted...and if you get some luck w/ reading the CM thing....for the life of me I cannot figure it out...when you conceive is the fluid suppose to be white and like cottage cheese or smooth...I'm not sure what I see..I know it's white and like thick i guess you would say...I have a feeling it's due to AF anyways best wishes to all.....keep me posted...

That will be nice, Cierra is perfect babysitting age! She must be so excited. I was about 10 when my sister started having her kids so I was close to the same age as Cierra by the time my sister finished and I was so involved in it all. It would be a kind of bonding/learning experience I would think. Still no AF here either. I'm not sure what the CM is supposed to be like, I've heard mixed things, creamy white and lotion like I had heard, but then I've heard women who were like that but got AF. My boobs are sore again so I don't know. When do you plan on testing? I think if I don't have it by Sunday I'll test again. Well, have a great weekend. I'll stop in again tomorrow night probably.

Cee is a good babysitter but her hormones are raging right now...and she's driving me nuts but that's a whole other issue..Her and my son who is 4 fight like they were a year apart..I don't know sometimes why im trying so hard for another one..... Imust like agony LOL.Theyre good kids over all though.I'm going to test Sunday as well if AF doesn't show her ugly face...well good luck...and baby dust..

Hey, just checking in to see how you are and wish you luck tomorrow morning! No news here yet, my temps came down a little again today, but I went to bed about 2 hours later than normal, my DH, sister, BIL, and I were playing cards...(women kicked butt! Well we lost at Ucre but we REALLY kicked some a** in Hearts) I still woke up at my usual time to temp...not sure if 2 hours less sleep can affect my temp or not? Maybe I should have woke up 2 hours later to test instead? I gotta find that out if I go to bed later if I should wake up later to compensate? Anyhow, still no sign of AF, still have creamy white CM, sore BBs, and cramping. Not like usual cramping though, it feels like I did 300 situps lastnight...I recall that same feeling with Kierra so I'm hoping that is a good sign, After I woke up this morning I think I also had that pelvic bone crampy feeling I mentioned I had with Kierra...it was faint and only for a few minutes until my body got used to me being up and about but I felt a bit of it...kinda feels like when you ride a boy bike and miss the peddle? Only it didn't hurt as bad...with Kierra it hurt more as my pregnancy progressed. But my temps coming down a little again today discouraged me a bit. My period was due this past Thursday so tomorrow will be 3 days late officially. I'll test in the morning and post if I have time, I have to work tomorrow afternoon...and because it's a usual day off for me and I'll be working 6 days in a row, after I test my temp I'm going back to sleep so I can sleep as much as I can...I don't have to work until 2:30pm so that will be OK. Well, I'm hoping we both (and everyone else who's waiting to test) see some BIG FLIPPIN POSITIVES!!!!!! I can't wait to see!

It's Sunday and AF still hasn't came...what the freak is going on now I'm getting really frustrated...I did another pt on Sat. morning...first response and still got a bpn....what the heck I don't know how much more i can take it...

I woke up and took my temperature and it dropped quite a bit so I knew AF was coming, sure enough she was here this morning. :(
Maybe next month. Well, I can't chat I have to get ready for work. I don't even want to work I just want to curl up in bed and wish AF wasn't here! Hope you are doing OK.

sorry to hear that kierrasmommie...hopefully next month is better for you! Just remember you have kierra...don't let this get the best of you it will be okay don't get to nervous you're still young! It always seems to take longer when we want things to go our way.

Goodluck, I really hope you have better results. Keep in mind what your DR said, there is still a chance. I'm hoping next month is my month. Then Kierra and Baby#2 will have birthdays close together...3 years apart but close date wise.
