Man if it is not one thing it is another it's my mouth this time.I can feel that my top lip feels tight on the inside and the texture of it feels different than other parts of my mouth. I can also feel little sensitive areas on my tounge. I tried to look in the mirror but it was a little difficult to see, anyway I kinda saw somw red dots where I felt the most red areas. I was going to try some salt water to see how that helps it out cause I can't have this I am scared to kiss someone!!! But the sun will come up tomorrow even if I don't see it some one will just a pain to go through. I think that I REALLY need to stack up on my rest. That is what got me in this problem from the start. c ya'll later.

I don't really have suggestions but wanted to give you a lot of sympathy and good will. My oldest boy just got a cold sore--got it from his ex-girlfriend. So I am also commiserating with him, and sad that someone else in my family has to put up with this.

Sorry to hear that about your son that sucks. I was just thinking last night I wonder how many folks contracted this disease through some form of Oral transmission. I think that the # would be way higher than we expected. I think that it is the may mode or transmission. Mabye it may be transferred to a seperate location after that but deffinately I think that oral is the bigger percentage.

I wanted to ask you a question I asked b4 I was looking for the thread but I can;t find it rigth off this morning anyway. Oh my goodness I finally looked down there and I saw a little blister I have not had this for a while. Imean I would get some itchyness or something but any way the question that I have is that I don't know if this yeast thing is over or not but when do I douche with salt water and when do I douche with the probiotics?? My period just came on and I was interrupted with the yeat creams so I don't know what the deal is. Will my period effect the yeast, will it clear it up or make it worse?? I know no one person has all of the answers especially for someone else but hey may as well give it a shot. and do you remember what thread that was that I am talking about?

anna, do you get cold sores on your tongue? i thought they mainly appear on the lips? i get little things on my tongue. not blisters, but every little thing freaks me out. i've had cold sores, but nothing on my tongue. maybe your like me and freak out about little things. the lip i can see, but the tongue. hang in there...

I get these bumps on my tonge...it sort of feels like my tonge swells and I get trouble swallowing. They come periodically but I do not know if it is herpes. I have HSV 2...does anyone know if you can get it on the tongue?

well I would not actually call it a cold sore on my tounge it is just that I associate it with herpes. I mean you probally really even could not tell that they were there but I sure can feel them. I kinda feels like it does if you have ever burned your tounge on something hot in one spot or something. I never get a the typical fever blister, Mine just look like pimples and you really woul dnot be able to tell the difference between that and a pimple but it looks just like a pipmle to me so now I am just wondering for the heck of it how many folks have what they think are pipples and they are not really pimples???

Mine look like round bumps...like a rocky little road in there. They do not hurt either. I can't figure it out, but my guy has herpes too and a few weeks ago he had these weird paper cuts on his penis...I never noticed them until I was '' there''. He claims they are friction cuts...but I say it is the big h. This is why I am scared now he gave it to me in my mouth. Gee, if it's not one end it's another-

sometimes i get little things on my tongue, but the doctors say that type one is only on the lips and rarely IN the mouth. i've seen pictures on the net, but that's all. all this reading has informed me, yet made things so much more complicated. i used to get cold sores on my lip about once every year and a half. i've been getting them more often after a make out session about 6 mos ago. every little thing i have in my mouth i think is herpes. paranoia huh? this stuff was never a problem until now. sux.

YEAH IT REALLY DOES. i mean my mouth is feeling better but I have not really done anything to it yet, bu i tis not feeling as raw/tight as yester day. I've read you can get them anywhere, but they're more common on the outside of the mouth.

annabananna, I douche with salt water after having sex, and usually that's it. Recently I was itchy and douched twice, over a period of three or four days, with the probiotics.

I'm sorry not to have seen your question before; I've been going to a Literacy Council workshop to learn how to help adults learn to read, and it's very time-consuming.

I'm going to do a search for probiotics, and if I find the thread, I'll bump it up.

Ive also never heard of anything on the tongue, but it might very well be possible, Id suggest calling a doctor and asking. I know I got a few sores on the inside of my lower lip, but never on the outside. I dont know, best of luck with that.

I am 100% sure that is what it is it is not noticable at all, I just feel it in my upper and lower inner lips and some spots on my tounge.

No prob BP, I knwo how post can easily be over looked. Any way what is the amount of probiotics that use? Is there a certain measurement? And sorry if I asked you this before but do you by it on line? I have seen it at a health food store but I can just imagime breaking open all of those little capsules to get a certain amount. Mabye if they sold it as a powder some where it would be more convient for any purpose.

I bought mine in powder form from the refrigerator of my local health food/herbal shop. It instructs to take 1/2 t per day mixed with a little water, so that's what I douche with, too, but with extra water.

You could call a health food store and ask if they have it in powder form.
