I have been sick since July 4th or so. After going to the doctor many times, they have found that my left kidney is swollen and I have a kidney stone the size of a marble that wont come out by itself.

Would a swollen kidney affect how frequently I need to go to the bathroom? When I urinate it seems a little harder to go sometimes but it doesnt hurt. It also seems like there isnt much urine even when I drink alot of water.

My blood pressure recently increased greatly. My doctor put me on Altace for that. Could this be related to the swollen kidney? Does a kidney stone usually make the kidney swell?

I am a 20 year old male. I have had kidney stones in the past but never any this big. I am scheduled to have a CT scan of the abdomen on Thurs.
