herpes confuse me...


what are the symptoms? what do they look like? are are they only located on the lip...or can it be in the back of the mouth?!

Well, I dont know if this will help at all, but I had went to the dentist. About a day later I had open sores on my gums near where he had given me the shot to numb me. I went back to the dentist thinking it was a reaction to it, but the dentist said it is a form of herpes, probably brought on by the cleaning and shots. It was like a canker sore, but there were like 4 little sores in the same area instead of just one. So I dont know, but I think it could be possible, because I thought I just had a canker sore or something when it ended up being herpes.

I though that canker sores and herper were the same thing technically. But I may be wrong insight would help.
