I was taking Effexor 37.5mg for 5 days and Lorazepam 2mg for 10 days. I started to feel real dizzy and stopped both medication.
My doctor has now put me on Remeron 50mg and I continue to feel dizzy. I have been on Remeron now for 5 days and do feel much better except the dizziness and unsteadiness.
I like to know for how long these symptoms may last as it is affecting my daily life.
Thanks

effexor and remeron are 2 antidepressants and these meds often cause dizzyness
lorazepam is a valium type and doesnt cause dizzyness, lorazepam goes well with any antidepresant and may reduce the dizzyness.
anyhow the dizzyness should stop soon when the antidepressant starts to work properly, a low starting dose of any antidepressant seems best for anxiety sufferers

I was on Remeron for a few months. Grogginess is a general side effect. Most of the dizziness/grogginess should subside, but there may always be a slight undertone to it. My doctor recommended that I take it at night. I accidentally took it in the morning and it felt like I was hit by a train! If you don't take it at night time, you may want to ask your doctor if that would be better.

I have been taking it now for more than 11 days. My dizziness is worse and also having other side effects such as trembling and getting angry. I am getting great sleep and feel like eating all the times.
I have decided that it is time to quit this medication and I like to know if I am going to experience any bad withdrawal effects and how long is going to take for this to get out of my system. Worst drug I have ever been on.
Feel like I have been doing heroin.
Kind Regards,

50 is above the max recomended dose for remeron, did you mean 5? this would be a low starting dose
all antidepressants can cause early side effects including dizzyness, try to put up with it as it probably will stop soon as you get used to the med
if you stop rthe remeron now, there wont be many problems as you havent been on it or the other antidepressants long, the lorazepam will help

Remeron comes in 15,30 and 45 mg. sol tabs (they melt in your mouth) The lower the dose the more sedated you feel but everyone's milage is different.

It was 30mg. My mistake.
I have tried effexor and remeron and both have caused me sever dizziness, more anxiety and depression. I know that I probably did not give them enough time but they impacted my daily life badly.
I think I will just take Lorzepam for now.
Thanks
