Is it even possible for a woman to experience vaginal bleeding if she had a hysterctomy several years ago? Unless, of course, they have a STD or cancer?

Sponsor quincy 10-21-2004, 10:49 PM Hi,
It's not normal to have vaginal bleeding after a hysterectomy has totally healed. Is it constant bleeding or only after intercourse? Are you sure it's vaginal and not labial? It could be caused by vaginal dryness due to hormonal fluctuations, but cancer and STDs can be the cause as well. But, it's definitely something to get checked out sooner than later even if it might be something benign. Best to you, quincy |
