I am also new to this. I had my first surgery in 1998 I had a (Mass) I was told that was what it was next to my stomach it was very large it was removed the surgeon told me I had several more on my liver to just keep watch, come back every 6 months for CT'S (Now I also went through the biopsy, blood work, CT Scans, MRI's) Which I did, then I started having pains in side gaining weight fatigued went to a different doctor because mine had left this doctor was a specialist on liver disease come to find out when I had surgery first time my (MASS) had turned into CANCER and nobody ever notified me! Well needless to say I went to second doctor (4 years later) he set me up for a liver resection when he went in he found out there was about 20 of these adenomas (that is what second doctor called it) Some were very large he took out almost 3/4 of liver.(I also found out from my first surgery I have a hernia right next to my stomach) I was in CCU for 4 days had to get blood transfusions was very sick. Came home couple of days later and was doing much better. Starting loosing weight again. Now 1 year to the date I have put back on weight again going through the fatigue feeling bloated and pain in the side and back. The last time I went to the doctor he said instead of doing surgery he would do Radio Frequency Ablation (RAF) I am not sure about this Have any of you guys ever had that done?

I guess what it all boils down to I just wonder how I got mine the doctor said it is a very rare case to get these without taking birth control pills. He did advice me not to get pregnant again (not like that was on my mine anyway). I have been reading all the post and find it very interesting. I am glad I found this now I know I am not alone with this disease. Until next time. Everybody take care.
