You want to avoid "bad" carbs if you are trying to get your abs to show. Try to eat lean protein and green leafy vegetables. Avoid things like white bread and rice and sugar. For a snack, eat a handful of raw almonds per day. Use olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Use olive oil and vinegar as a salad dressing as opposed to store bought dressings. If you are really into working out and getting muscle, you may want to consider a protien drink. :)

Is eating sweets with just a bite everyday (just for the taste) affect with you losing the excess abodominal fat?

Is eating sweets with just a bite everyday (just for the taste) affect with you losing the excess abodominal fat?The problem is that if you eat sweets you will want them more. Avoid them and you never want them. You really don't need the taste - think of it like an addiction. Just a "taste" will lead to more. If you need to eat something sweet, eat an apple or 1/2 cup of natural (no sugar) applesauce. Apples have become my "candy"!
