I know were not doctors here but people have their own experiences with their diabetes and knows what works and doesn't work. I have a million questions, as I've explained, I don't have a PC doc yet. Can stress raise your blood sugar numbers? Thanks for sharing. I'm learning something everyday from each of you. Mama Kay

Yes, stress absolutely can cause your blood sugars to rise, but in a non-diabetic, even under extreme stress, their blood sugars will not go out of the target ranges.

YES YES YES!!!
But I'll take it a step further and also add that its not only emotional stress that causes the blood glucose levels to rise - it can also be from physical stress. Eliminating those factors that add to physical stress will only help you to gain control of your numbers. Examples include:
Any physical Injury
Illness (such as cold and flu)
Poor diet (such as inadequate nutrition, poor quality food, skipping meals, etc)
High toxic load (from food, coffee, cigarettes, unnecessary meds, alcohol, and environment)
Sleep disorder
...and probably many more!
