I just had my first surgery of any kind. I had a Lami./2-level fusion and I found most of my support through this board. I don't have family around and I am raising 2 kids. I needed to be as prepared as possible. I got the best tips for preparing my house ahead of time, I learned what to expect after the surgery and I was emotionlly prepared for the surgery because of the faithfulness of others. When problems arose, I knew I could turn to the board for support and understanding. When I couldn't get a clear answer from the DR. the people on this board shared their experiences and wisdom. I can't say enough about the support I have recieved, except that I am a testimony to making it through a major surgery and I have experiences now that I can share with others in need. I have already told numerous people about this site and will keep doing just that. :angel:
