I'm 42 years old and had cataract surgery on my left eye on Thursday.

When I took off the patch everything was very blurry and hazy. I know this can be expected and I had a visit with the doctor the next day (Friday). He told me sometimes this takes a few days to clear up.

Last night I also noticed that my left pupil is very small and doesn't react to any change in light. This really has me concerned. I plan on calling the doctor the first thing Monday morning.

Has anyone else gone through something like this before?

An update:

The haziness has cleared up but my left pupil still remains very small.

I'm hoping it's just a reaction to the various eye drops.
