i went to the emergency room with a migraine last week, and while i was there, i mentioned that my kidneys were bugging me (and causing sharp stomach pains), and i was having horrible chest pains.....so the ER dr took a CT scan of my stomach and came to the conclusion that i am having a spasmatic bowel, well, he gave me levsin for the pain, well, i'm still having the pain and the chest pains......nothing is working, i am taking xanax for the chest pains, and the levsin for the stomach pain, and every now and then i will end up with a migraine so i will have to take a relpax and phenergan, plus my pcp put me on aciphex.....she also told me that the topamax i am taking causes GI problems...so i will probably have to go off it, for this to stop...and lowered my dosage to 200mg from 300mg (but it has to be cleared through my neurologist first) i am on the topomax to keep my migraines away, but the dr in the ER said that my stomach problems could be causing my migraines, but i read on here that people who suffer from migraines get IBS? what in the world do i do?????

HELP PLEASE!

Your message is somewhat telling us that you have some problems with severe headaches, intestinal spasms & IBS, kidneys pain, too much stomach acid that is causing GERD, nausea and you just flat out feel bad!!

The problem is none of us know your complete Medical Condition except your PCP. I think that is why no member has responded to your message.
I have responded to many but I really don't know where to start with you except you are probably taking too many different medicines that react with each other producing problems because of side effects??

God Bless---Harry

maybe your right.....but i don't always take all those meds......the two that i always take are the topamax & aciphex....they are daily meds for me......i can't take all the medication i mentioned there, i would OD and die, it's all stuff that makes you drowsy.....i understand that only my PCP can tell me what is wrong, but i think even she is at a loss
