View Full Version : Skin out of anal area

I don't know if this is the best place to post this, but I couldn't find a better place. My sister just told me of a problem she is having that her skin has come out of her anal area after going to the bathroom and she can't get it back in and it is very uncomfortable and sorta swollen. (Just to be clear she has definitely never had anal sex) She may have wiped too hard after going to the bathroom or isn't using soft toilet paper. Should she see a doctor about this? Is this common and will it go away. It has been like this a few days and is causing her great discomfort. Any INFO would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure she doesn't have hemoroids? They can sometimes come out of the anus, sticking out and can get very big. They are very painful. If she isn't having any pain then she needs to see her doctor because then it's more serious and it may be her bowels coming out. Rare but can happen. Has she had anal sex recently too rough? I have heard stories of that happening where the bowels come out. She really needs to go to a doctor asap. Good luck to her.

Hi,

It could be a hemorrhoid, either internal or external....has she checked it out in a mirror? It could as well be prolapsed anus....from pushing too hard during a bm.

I would agree that seeing a doc would be the best thing so she can be given proper treatment.

In the meantime, soaking in a very warm sitz bath and applying hydrocortisone cream would help take down the swelling.

I hope it improves for her and that it's nothing serious. She may need to increase her fibre through foods so that her stool evacuates causing less trauma to the anus.

Best to you both,
quincy
