I am waiting the results on my recent MRI but in the mean time I would like to hear from some of you who may have experienced the same type symptoms.

I have lower back pain mostly from center of back to my right hip area. Pain also radiated to just below my knee if I lie or sit in a certain position. I am also experiencing extreme tenderness/soreness on my right side from hip around to lower pelvic area. It is not sore to touch..just when I move. I have to sleep in the fetal position just so my back/leg does not hurt. Sometimes its almost impossible to turn over in bed at night. A few times right leg has almost gave way under me. Anyone else experienced any of this? The main thing that concerns me is the soreness/tenderness. Dr. said this could be from inflammation.

sounds like my condition. i sleep like that as well but have to have a body pillow between my legs. it relieves the nerve compression from the disk. you probably have buldging or herniated disk pressing on the nerve. you might have to get an emg if your leg gives out anymore. when i wake up in the morning, my leg is numb from the hip down for a while until i get going. i have degenerative disk disease. good luck, jason
