I have to get an IVP test, will this dye make me sick? also, i read that in people with kidney problems or diabetes that this test can cause early kidney failure and that scares me, can it do this to someone with no problems?

Some people are allergic to the dye used during IVPs. As for myself, I have had several, and other that the warm sensation, which is common when dye is injected, I have never had any problems with the test itself,,,,Now if I could only say that about kidney stones!
