When I wake up in the morning my eyes are loaded with crusties. All along my top eyelid where the lashes come out. Some days are worse than others, I've had this for quite a few years and I've become use to cleaning them out everyday. Well I'm finally getiing sick of it. Does anyone else have this? What is it and how do you treat it? I haven't talked to a dr. about it cause.. well I'm not sure why. Thought I'd ask here first. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

abundant eye crusties are generally indicitive of an infection.....so I'd suggest talking to your doctor just to be safe :)

its definetely blepharitis. do warm compresses and lid scrubs w/ johnson's baby shampoo. hope this helps.
