HI! I'm going to be a ***** for halloween this year and I need some ideas. I have straight fine hair that reaches to about the middle of my boobs.
I bought one of those hair scrunchies that has the fake hair in a spiky circle. It has blonde hair with black streaks and silver metallic pieces in it and I know I want to dye streaks of my own hair red. I just can't think of a good style for it, I'm so terrible at hair designs!
Anyone got any ideas for me??? Anything would be very appreciated! Thanks

What I'm envisioning for your "******" costume is coloring your hair black (with the black temp haircolors that comes in spray cans or whatever) then streak it red with temp hair color.

For color streaking I highly recommend "Hot Head". It has a comb with it, and you just squeeze the color out the bottle through the comb & comb it into your hair. It washes right out.

With the black & red streaks, hair style almost won't matter, but maybe pig tails or something. I have long hair myself, & I've used both the black spray-on hair color & "Hot head" streaks, both with great success http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hmmm, since your costume generally has horns, you don't want your hair to cover them... and you bought a scrungie... how about gathering your hair in a messy type pony tail using the scrungie. Then you can streak little loose pieces by your face.

I looked up the Hot Head stuff and I couldn't find anywhere that sold red. Are you sure they make red? It doesn't really matter anyway because I bought some Beyond the Zone semi-permanent red already.
I have light blonde hair so I don't know about the black. Even if it says it washes out in one washing I'm scared that it won't, and I don't want to be stuck with black hair. Has it always washed right out for you?

I think you should maybe put it up high, or whatever looks sexy on you. Just do whatever hairstyle you do when you want to look sexy. Isn't that what that costume is really about?

That's my problem though. I don't have a "sexy" hairstyle. I never even blow dry my hair, just brush it and go. Whenever I try to do something it ends up looking stupid. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif I suck with hair.
