On Sept 3rd I underwent a LEEP in the hospital. About 3 weeks later I had a f/u and he looked at my cervix and said it was heeling ok and that I was ok for sex. Yesterday I had sex and noticed quite a bit of blood after. I have never bled during sex before. I am also on Yasmin BC and don't start my period pills for two weeks. I just noticed some more of a pinkish light red blood tonight, it's more than when I spot but not enough for a period and doesn't last more than a couple minutes. I normally don't spot unless I miss a pill and I haven't missed any in months. Do you think it has something to do with my leep?

I had a cone and bled on and off for 4 weeks. But you should call the doctor just to be safe.

I had a cone biopsy on oct 5 and bleed/spotting for a week. Then it stopped on day 8. No bleeding or spotting for 12 days afterwards. Then all of suddenly at 300am one night I woke to some wetness and realize I was bleeding fresh blood. It lasted a few minutes. It was scary but its common cause its part of the healing process. Believe me I freaked out also.

I had sex 10 weeks after my second leep and bleed bright red for just a few minutes. I went to the doctor a few days later and they said that some people heal slower and it depends on how deep the cone/leep was. They said I was fine and probably just some blood vessels on the surface or something. I'm sure you are ok =)

I waited 4 months to have sex and I STILL bled afterwards, only it wasn't bright red, it was brown and it only lasted a few days. I'm good to go now! :D
