Are you supposed to take your temp at the same time each morning? What should the diffrence be if you are not? Will it throw it off that much?

Ideally, you are supposed to take your temp at the same time every day after at least 3 hrs sleep. The closest you can get to that the better b/c your temp can vary at different times throughout the day. Pretty much everything you do for charting should be done around the same time every day (not neccesarily everything at once, but each thing s/b done at certain times of the day). I used to think it didn't matter, but the last several months I have been sticking to the times as much as possible and it really is easier to see patterns in the charts now.

Yes it will throw it off, you should really do it at the same time each day, i have to be up for work at 7.00 so when my allarm goes off at 6.55 i do it then - even on my days off
Believe me, i feel tired but i can soon get back to sleep and id rather gat it right! Its said (in the books) that its best to have 4 or more hours sleep before taking your temp and this should be undisturbed if possible.
Good Luck to you

Yes I can see a diffrence. I am currently on cd 7 and for the past 3 days I have been getting up at 05:00 so I do my tmp then. I was just doing it when I woke up the other days. I will just set my alarm for 05:00 and so it then even on my days off. THANKS GUYS
