so far its been about 5 days and I still have no smiles lines for several hours but then they come back. I will try these for a couple of months and if I notice any all day improvement I will let you know but so far seems very temporary but maybe with time.

It's always a good idea to read the directions that come with a product. If you read the booklet that comes in the Frownies box you will learn that you are supposed to wear Frownies every day (overnight is best, minimum of 3-4 hours) for the first 30 days to "retrain" the facial muscles and after that it is recommended to wear them at least 3 times a week. So, if you see no improvement yet (after only five days) you now know why. Give it some time and you probably will be pretty happy with the results.

I wore them for 2 weeks straight and still the wrinkles returned in a couple of hours. Maybe I should have done it longer, but my husband was sick of looking at a cardboard/tape face everynight LOL

Two weeks is not enough. Must be at least a month, so it says. But, it's not a miracle. Your lines will still come back after a while but they should come back a bit less deep and less pronounced the longer you wear this stuff. Many actresses use Frownies and they swear by them. It's such a low-tech product that I think it's worth it to use them. They do more then a lot of very expensive creams. But I can understand your husband not wanting to see his beautiful wife plastered with paper cut outs. It must look quite unappealing and not very inviting ;)
