Ok,this is really weird.Just today i've been complaining about the pain of the ball of my foot after i take of my high heels.I watched the E channel and they showed this one amazing procedure where the podiatrist puts colaggen injections in the ball of the foot. The cost $10 000 for one foot.I guess if you wanna look sexy in your Jimmy Choos and have the money and not be in pain ,do it.There should be something affordable for every woman in pain.I spent so much money for any kind of Dr.Scholls and anything else, but we all know they don't work.I just wanna know how women deal with the heels and the pain?

My toes hurt more in my high heels. If you don't wear heels every day and take them off the first chance you get, you shouldn't have too much of a problem. Putting collagen in your foot so you can wear heels that are going to give you vericose veins and all sorts of other problems just sounds really silly to me. I used to walk to school in high school and somehow my feet would always be hurting from some shoe I was wearing. I just dealt with it.

if you wear wedge shaped or block heels, that should help. some stores cater to women w/ foot problems, like easy spirit. you'd think they only have conserative looking shoes, but some of them are pretty stylish high heels, and they definitely do make your feet feel better and they look good too.

well... there are deffinantly some controlable variables to being comfortable in heels...

first and most important: PICK YOUR BATTLES!!! so it's the cutests shoe you've ever seen... it's on sale.. you've just GOT to have it... if it hurts when you put it on.. it's not going to get better after wearing it a while. Don't buy your shoes too small, (try them on when your feet are just a little swollen from shopping.. because your feet are GOING to swell in them anyway) and if you're going to be wearing it longer.. for your wedding.. or to work.. don't buy cheap shoes.. spend the extra money on well built quality shoes that won't break down durring their first wearing.. if they're just a cute trendy gimic that you'll probably wear once and toss... feel free to buy cheap

next biggie: take care of your feet... having big calluses or toenails that are ingrown, too long, or not clipped correctly, will only cause you more pain when you're trying to wear a shoe that's going to be uncomfortable in itself... remove those big calluses.. moisturize.. and clip your nails straight across and extra close for closed toe shoes. also on the topic of taking care of your feet... some people (I know I do) have a problem with their feet trying to slide too far down in the shoe if they sweat a little.. so if your feet sweat.. dusting them and they sole of the shoe with a little baby powder can help keep them dry.. wearing hose can help this too if they're closed toe

next on the list: weight.. yeah.. I know.. it sucks.. I've got more than a couple of extra pounds to carry around too.. but keep in mind that if you are overweight.. it takes major toll on your feet... so if you're going to be in heels a long time.. you really want a shoe with alot of support, a chunky shorter heel is much better on everyones knees period, but if you *have* to wear the sky high stilletos (yeah.. me too.) just prepare for pain... it's bad enough if you're slim but it's going to get worse the more overweight you are... after all your feet are awefully small objects to have to hold up your whole body.. I wouldn't want to have to support me all day.. that would suck!

last but not least: sure.. strappy little numbers are sexy.. but keep in mind the more material there, the more support for your foot, and the less pain. a sexy pair of stilleto boots half a size larger than your normal shoe can be really sexy too, and nobody ever has to know theres a really thick sock inside it keeping your foot comfy, as well as if you wear heels to work, getting them just a little bigger and cutting off a piece of sock to stuff down in the toe and pad the ball of your foot can help ALOT too.

and yeah.. I AM a shoe addict :D
