View Full Version : Product to protect blow-dry hair?

I asked my hairdresser about those little broken-off fly-a-ways that float above my head and she said that if I blow-dry my hair everyday (which I do) I need to use some kind of product before blow-drying to prevent breakages.
Does anyone know of some product that prevents/helps breakages?

Thanks.

Bumble and Bumble styling lotion is really great for protecting your hair during heat usage. They don't sell this brand at stores, only salons carry it.

I use Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner or Infusium's leave-in conditioner.

I use StraightSexyHair Smooth&Seal aerated anti-frizz spray before I dry my hair and it works great! Before I started using it, every time I would dry my hair, I'd have all these hairs all over the place (kinda like static) and it drove me NUTS! Finally, my hairdresser recommended this. Just don't use too much or your hair will be greasy. I have fine, color treated and dry hair, so a little bit will do ya.

is there something you can put in dry hair that won't make them wet? i wash my hair at night and then flat iron in the morning. leave in conditioner takes forever to dry!

Rusk polishing serum works well. There is a knock off brand at Sallys (I forget the name)that works also.
