I went for my biopsy, and they said they called me back because they wanted to look for HPV. So I have not received the test results back yet, but ok so what if i have that and then I am treated but what about my b/f. I don't wnat to use a condom because we are trying for a baby, of course that is on hold right now, but what do we do? I heard that it is not curable so what happen if I get pregnant? I am a little stressed out, any advice would be great.

I don't think you're going to have a problem having a baby with HPV. As long as you don't have actual warts, you can have a vaginal delivery and all! The disease doesn't get passed on to the child (from what I've read) during delivery or in utero. NOW, if you have actual warts and they're present during the delivery, there is a chance that you can pass them on to the baby. Don't fret right now - wait and see what your dr says. As far as condoms go, that's up to the two of you to decide.

Thank you so much for the reply. Very comforting! I just hope that my b/f cannot pass it back to me.

The "good" thing about HPV is that you can't reinfect yourself like you can w/ herpes. Once you have that particular strain, that's it. If either one of you stray and come in contact with another strain, then you can introduce yourself to a new strain.

That is really good to know! Because I would love to have a baby real soon and I do not plan on using protection of course.
