I have a question. During these few days, I have notice my skin drying up around the base of the penis (ex. after you take a shower and your skin is dry). I see little bumps also around the area and have the URGE to itch the area for over 2 weeks. Finally I have 2 long cuts along both bases of the thigh region (in between the thigh and testical region). Is this a symptom of GH or molloscum? Also, what is the difference between molloscum and genital herpes?

If symptom is GH...
To make a long story short, I took a STD test for herpes and the results show 3.75 for Herpes 1 and 0.24 for Herpes 2. Can my symptoms be the results of Herpes 1 around my genital area?

Thanks for hearing me out.

Hi There,

Mollusculum pictures are available on the internet, take a look at the pics and do some comparing. Did your doctor explain the results of your test? Do you have antibodies for the herpes virus? And the answer to your question is yes...you can definately have HSV 1 in the genital area. My boyfriend has herpes too and he gets '' cuts'' on the penis instead of blisters. Good luck hope you find out what it is.
